All these factors may lead to some form of conflict. The International Negotiation Programme is a vocational course that addresses the political, organisational and systemic challenges to industry conflict resolution.

The Clash Challenge provided by the International Negotiation Programme offers tools to aid partakers in transforming conflicts in and between organisations into something more productive.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

- Understand the different stages employed by international diplomacy (officially and non-officially) that require variable participation according to the degree of clash and escalation
- Make delegates aware of the meaning, applicability and efficacy of different instruments and tools
- Industry relationship networking

ENROLLMENT CRITERIA

Delegates should:

- Have an average work experience of 5 years
- Have some experience in negotiation, procurement, litigation
- Hold a junior or middle management position within their organisation
- Be used to comfortably interact, write and work in English

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The International Negotiation Programme encourages learning and understanding through:

- Facilitated learning groups
- Behavioural simulations
- Real-life and on-the-job situations
- Awareness of own conflict management profile
